Prayer MinistryPrayer Ministry

Royal Heights desires to be a house of prayer, in every way that our Lord Jesus wants us to be. Prayer is the basic foundation of every other ministry that the church body takes part in. God has asked us to clearly share the Gospel message with others. God also asked us to make disciples. This means that all members need to be taught how to pray. The church needs to provide opportunities to pray in small groups and in a corporate setting.

“..My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”
~Isaiah 56:7b

As well as praying together in home groups, we have a brief Weekly Prayer Time, specifically praying for the pastor and the Sunday Celebration Service. Everyone is invited to join us in the church conference room at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday.

We want you to be a part of this group as we pray for other churches and workers across Canada and around the world.

This is the confidence that we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of Him
~ 1 John 5:14-15

Our church has an Emergency Prayer Chain, specifically for emergencies, i.e. accidents, surgeries. This is led by Shelley Burgoyne at 604-951-0788. This is a group who can pray quickly for your prayer needs. If you have an urgent emergency prayer need, or would like to be part of the team who prays for those needs, please give Shelley a call.

If you have a prayer concern, please put a note in the offering boxes or give Vi Heath a call at 604-599-0512.
